| Cleaning thermal paste of ram chips ??
Hi, Can someone tell me if cleaning the thermal paste off the top of ram chips on a video card with AS thermal paste remover is bad ?? will it damage the ram ?? also where can you purchase the tape to stick heat sinks to the ram as well. cheers

thermal tape available at coolpc.com.au http://www.coolpc.com.au/catalog/pro...roducts_id=343 should be fine using artic clean for cleaning ram chips |

I have a whole pack of that "thermally challenged tape", it is'nt actually tape but little squares and it is soooooo thick you might as well just use a peice of paper with that white paper glue either side PS: if you want some of these thermally challenged squares please let me know, you can have them for the price of postage PPS: I've got lots of them |
