Hi all as the title says i have a problem here i have been at this all day its a mates GFX card i have installed 3 different sets of drivers NGOHQ ATI and the ones that com with the card

the problem is that when we try to load 3dmark 06 it just sits there the pc dont lock up or anything 3dmark 06 just goes to NOT RESPONDING i have tried this GFX car in 2 machine and same problem

How ever the 2 pc's i have tried it in i have used only the 2 pci-e 6pins as i dont have an 8pin would this be the problem 1 psu in the corsair hx 620

Pleas list any ideas what could be wrong thanks in advance

are you fixing that dodgy futuremark DLL file before you run 3D Mark?

is it only for the ati cards ? my 8800ulta runs fine with 3dmark06 without fixing any dll's



Problem solved i had to rename the

system32\Futuremark\MSC\"Direcpll.dll" to something else


thanks for the hint for the dll i just googled it

then rename the Direcpll.dll file to something like 'Directpll.dl_' or maybe 'thisdllfilesucksballs.realbad' and give it another shot!
