I hope this new position wasnt invented out of desperation on Ati's behalf. No doubt ATi have now employed one of the most reveared madmen around for overclocking, now to wait for long term results and improvements. |

Id like to see some1 implement a new divider system into a chipset. To make it possible to adjust your mem and ldt indepentantly on a simple slide setting. If your ram maxes at 235, then set it there, if your cpu's max HTT is 3xx, then set it there and suffer no divider pushing and pulling at your ram speed.

| By Crocodile If you can do the maths so the three data paths you're indirectly modifying all magically run in synch by doing so, then go for it

![]() Anyway, what does Macci actually bring to the company do you think? I mean sure he can benchmark, but what does he know about the actual hardware/software that the average joe techy at ATI wouldn't already? Very little i'd imagine. Looks to me like just a name to have on their payroll... |
