Question benchmark settings
jsut wondering, what is meant to be ticked in 3dmark05/03/01se, and pc mark.
do you just leave the default settings, for instance in 3dmark05 only the game and cpu boxes are ticked, but alot more unticked.

Also when i installed pc-mark, it told me i need windows media encoder9 installed. Do i have to download it and install it, or should it already be on my system?

3dmark2001 only 1st 4 tests count for score
3dmark2003 only 1st 4 tests count for score
3dmark05 only 1st 3 tests count for score
pcmark04 only 1st test count for score - yes windows media encoder 9 needs installing

oh, ok, but if it was to test for system stability or something like that, should all the boxes be ticked, or are the ones you mentioned enough?

TIP: on 3Dmark03 if you only want the 4 test for score, press ESC on CPU tests, to skip CPU, audio and DX tests.
