Just received my ordered microSDHC and SDHC flash memory cards for my devices - a 16GB Sandisk MicroSDHC and 16GB Sandisk Extreme III SDHC 30MB/s. Relatively cheap at AUD$59.15 and AUD$118.65 respectively

Upgraded from 8GB Sandisk microSDHC and 8GB Sandisk Extreme III SDHC 20MB/s models. Both old and new microSDHC aren't the Sandisk Ultra model which is apparently slightly faster not sure how much faster though.

The 16GB Sandisk Extreme III will be used in my Pentax K-7 DSLR camera and much welcomed upgrade - the Pentax K-7 is a 14.6MP DSLR camera and I shoot in DNG Raw format all the time, so files sizes are between 15-20MB per photo. 8GB Sandisk Extreme III 20MB/s SDHC stores around 323 DNG Raws with continuous shooting (Hi) mode for DNG Raw, I can shoot off 11-13 photos before the buffer is full. Now with 16GB Sandisk Extreme III 30MB/s SDHC it can store around 651 DNG Raws and with continuous shooting (Hi) mode for DNG Raw can shoot off 16-17 photos before buffer is full which is 30-54% faster it seems.

Tested speed using my Sandisk Extreme USB CF/SDHC reader which is limited to 20MB/s so can't test full speed of 16GB Sandisk Extreme III SDHC but it's going to be used for my Pentax K-7 DSLR camera
