If the NB is bottlenecking you AND the extra heat is not adverse then yes, it could help. Make sure it is well cooled.
Suprisingly the stock cooler is pretty decent. It takes 7-10 seconds to burn my finger at the highest NB voltage setting (1.768v)
Going to flash to 602 soon, and see if I can get these sticks past DDR1000.
Also update on the ram, no 3-3-3-12 or 3-4-4-12 at DDR800 as I BSOD every time going into windows.
