Potential issues:
  1. With vdimm mods, you can potentially kill the motherboard and/or ram. The default board comes with 2.2v vdimm max. Folks have been modding them to 2.7-3.0v!
  2. Some folks have reported with no mods board still died but it could be other factors, condensation due to phase change, etc. No confirmation on that so far. But thread discussing this is at http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=104074.

So sounds like those that volt mod >2.2v vdimm will see failure. I don't intend to do any mods (cause i don't know how ) so probably safe heh.
