sorry for double posting but peeled the spreader off in the name of science. really not that hard to remove, throw them in a sealed cardboard box with hot air blower on them for 4-5 minutes and use a towel to hold it while slowly prying with a flat head...getting them back on with good contact maybe difficult though....
