Not sure if this is the right spot but I have Ripjaw X (F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL) with chips marked
E117V8CR941A, and I can't seem to find any info on them.
Any ideas?

thread, it's an OEM chip from either Elpida or PSC. Can you take a photo of the chip please?
By Rone Those are relabeled Elpida chips. I'll add them to the list.
You're probably right, most likely it's the same chip that is used on Corsair's v2.12 kits, but theoretically it could be a relabeled/OEM PSC chip as well.

There are just too many versions of the Ripjaws Z series, all of them are probably using some sort of Hynix chip.
